A passionate player, dynamic coach, and community builder, Megan has been sharing her love of pickleball since 2015. She competes at the highest levels of the sport and recently helped lead the Bat City Bangers professional team to an undefeated season and league championship. Her sessions are known for being energetic, inclusive, and packed with both learning and laughter. She leads the Dink Doctor Series at SMASH.

A Charlottesville native who picked up pickleball six years ago and quickly climbed to elite 4.5+ level. Aydon is nearly finished with his Nursing degree and leads the Winning As One clinic series at SMASH. Familiar face on the courts — many members have played with him before they ever took a lesson.

Playing since 1998 — a quarter century into the sport. Carolyn has taught her favorite game to hundreds of players. Her teaching runs from foundational skills for beginners to accuracy, consistency, situational awareness, and mental focus for advanced players. Fun and encouraging, but always with a real coaching plan behind it.
PPR Certified Pickleball Instructor
Comes from a deep racquet sports background — years of professional tennis coaching before moving to pickleball. Teaches technique, movement, and game strategy. Works with players at every level, group or private. Leads intermediate Skills & Drills every other Sunday at 10am.

Background in biomechanics and kinesiology combined with a working career as a competitive pickleball player. Builds athletes through technical precision, movement efficiency, and competitive mindset. High-performance coaching applied to a growing sport.

Coaching racquet sports is what Jason loves to do. He has over 30 years of coaching experience, most recently as Director of Racquet Sports at The Greencroft Club, and played college tennis at Ferris State University. He is a past president of the Mid-Atlantic RSPA.
